ABOUT ME
Marco is a screenwriter who resides between London and Los Angeles.
His stories span from the American West to the capitals of Europe, with core themes of loss of innocence, desire and fate. Marco practiced as a litigation lawyer and currently works as a freelance writer for The Financial Times, covering topics such as tech and politics.
In 2020, he earned an MFA in Screenwriting from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (London, UK).
In 2024, he was invited to the Austin Film Festival as a Quarterfinalist with his pilot TALES FROM THE MOUNTAINS.
In 2025, with TALES FROM THE MOUNTAINS, he’s recognized as one of the Top 20 fantasy scripts on the Red List (Coverfly), a quarterfinalist in two of Screencraft’s competitions, and a finalist in the WritersxWriters competition sponsored by Paramount.
With his feature GLENDO LAKE, he’s in the top 15% at the Academy Nicholl Fellowship.
His latest feature, VENETIAN RED, is currently being read by several London executives.
